Julian Waters (b.1957) is a designer and calligrapher living near Washington D.C. In 1989 he succeeded Hermann Zapf in teaching annual lettering workshops at Rochester Institute of Technology. With clients including the USPS and National Geographic, he has received awards from the Type Directors Club, Art Directors Club, Print Magazine, and Letter Arts Review Annual.
