Design by Reynolds Stone. Emblem by P. Rahikainen.

Reynolds Stone (1909–1979) was a noted English engraver, designer, typographer, and painter. He designed the clock logo of the Times, and cut memorials to Winston Churchill and T.S. Eliot. His one face for Linotype, Minerva, was intended as a display companion to Gill's Pilgrim. He also designed a proprietary face named after his wife, Janet. See more of his work here.
