Bernard Brussel-Smith (1914–1989) was an American illustrator and wood engraver. He studied with Stanley William Hayter in Paris, and taught art classes at the Brooklyn Museum, Cooper Union, City College, and the National Academy. He designed one uncial face, Savina, whcih was never commercially available, and a sereies of illustrated initials which was only available from Westcott & Thomson. See more of his work here.
