Walter Brudi (1907–1987), born in Stuttgart, was a book designer, calligrapher, illustrator, and type designer. He taught at several German schools, and was the head of typography and book design at the Stuttgarter Akademie. His typefaces are Orbis, Brudi Mediaval, and Pan.
